Workshop Policies, Refunds, Discounts, and Special Offers

REGISTRATION FEE: Your enrollment in the Workshop(s) of your choice will be complete upon receipt of a non-refundable Registration Fee of $50.00. The Registration Fee is a one-time per calendar year charge regardless of the number of workshops for which you register in that year and applies to all registrations. All tuition balances are due in full before the opening of your first workshop.

Combo Pricing for two complete 17 hour Workshops (Includes Registration Fee):

List Price: $455 (a $530 value)
License Teacher Price: $415 (a $490 value)

Student Discount: Full time students can receive a 20% discount on the tuition fee of 17-hour workshops. A copy of student ID and class schedule with hours must accompany registration. There is limited space available for students per workshop. Contact event@musikgarten.org or call 800-216-6864 for information.. No other discounts apply. To obtain student discount please call 800-216-6864 or email your request with a copy of your student ID, transcript or current schedule to event@musikgarten.org to receive discount code for registering online.

Refresher: If you are certified to teach a Musikgarten level and need a refresher in that level, consider a refresher workshop. There is limited space available for refreshers per workshop. Contact event@musikgarten.org or call 800-216-6864 for information.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY - WORKSHOPS:

Participant Cancellation: A refund of all payments except the $50 Registration Fee will be made if Musikgarten is notified in writing at least three weeks prior to the beginning date of the training. If participant cancellation is after the three week time period a credit can be issued to your Musikgarten account minus the $50 Registration Fee, upon written request, to apply to tuition fees for a future Musikgarten Workshop or Webinar within one year. After the one-year time period, the tuition credit is forfeited. Once classes have begun, all registered participants are expected to attend the entire workshop, and no refunds will be given.

Musikgarten Cancellation: If enrollment does not meet a sufficient number, a workshop may be cancelled up to two weeks prior to the start date. In this case, Musikgarten will notify you immediately and issue a full refund. NOTE: Musikgarten is not responsible for any of the participant’s loss in travel expenses including but not limited to airfare, lodging, or miscellaneous expenses.

CERTIFICATION: Musikgarten Certification will be granted to each participant completing a full course via workshop or webinar and demonstrating rhythm and tonal competency. All contact hours can be applied toward certification by the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association (ECMMA). For further information on ECMMA, call 360-568-5635.

LICENSING: Participants are invited to become licensed Musikgarten teachers after they have received certification in one level of Musikgarten. For more information on the Musikgarten License, call Musikgarten at 1-800-216-6864 or email event@musikgarten.org.

CREDIT (CEUs, etc.): All of our workshops and webinars can be used toward continuing education units (CEU), professional development points, and/or staff development units. Contact your local office for instructions. Musikgarten will fill out any paperwork you provide to complete our part of the process to help you get the credit. Activity credit for members of the American Montessori Society is also available.
