Music Makers: Around the World is part two of the Music Makers programs. The children gain cultural awareness through cultural units that present thematic material to explore the culture and community of a people as embedded in place. They also develop their listening and vocal skills, move towards becoming musically literate, and gain control of their bodies. The goal is to teach the comprehensive music skills that benefit the child no matter where his future interests lead - piano lessons, school band or choir, math league, or the soccer field. Teacher Materials include: Bound Book (254p, 30 lessons), activity cards and maroon binder, 100+ activites.
